2. Scope
This policy describes personal information collected through loopbackinc.com. It does not automatically govern every third-party site we link to, or every processing activity under a client services agreement.
3. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Identity and contact data you submit (name, email, phone, company, role, message, budget range).
- Communications you send to [email protected] or by phone.
- Cookie and device data, as described under Cookies below.
We do not require you to join a mailing list to request an information package. Newsletter subscription is optional and separate.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage in line with Canada’s privacy laws and, where the EU/UK GDPR applies, the ePrivacy rules. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Optional cookies are off unless you opt in through the cookie banner. Rejecting optional cookies does not block the site.
Your choice is stored for 180 days in a first-party cookie named lb_consent and in local storage on your device. That record is essential: it remembers Accept, Reject, or a custom mix so we do not ask on every page. You can change it at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

We do not use advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies on this site. We do not sell cookie data.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use this site to publish client identities.
6. Sharing
Inquiry forms are delivered through Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Graph) using application certificate authentication. Microsoft processes that mail as our email provider. We also use processors who host the website and ticketing, and we disclose information when law requires it. We do not trade lists.
7. Retention
Inquiry records are kept as long as needed to complete the conversation and for a reasonable period afterward for disputes, tax, and security logs — typically not longer than required by law or legitimate business need.
8. Security
We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to a professional services firm. No website is perfectly secure. Use unique passwords on any client portals we provide.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we hold, and you may withdraw consent for optional cookies or marketing. Contact us using the details below. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.
In Canada you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta. If GDPR applies to you, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
The website is intended for adults acting for a business. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you have read the new version.
